Tentacular Thinking
Tentacular Thinking is a set of live visuals that takes its title and its text from the second chapter of Donna Haraway's Staying with the Trouble (2016), where the tentacular names a mode of thought made through attachment, entanglement and the many-armed. Passages from the chapter run across the screen while generated bodies, in which women merge with jellyfish, octopuses and other tentacled forms, are rendered as point clouds inside a wireframe volume, where they scatter and re-form in real time.
